A look at the rosters for the 2018 Atlantic City Memorial Day Tournament, which is set to start on May 26th at Atlantic City’s Sand Castle Stadium, shows a good deal of Yonkers Railsplitter Players.
The Splitters have 11 players representing the team, more than any other team in the New York City Metro Baseball League (NYCMBL). Sebastian Colon, Terrell Wilson, Shamel Ramos, Ramon Dario, Michael Boothby, JC Nunez, Douglas Pichardo, Wilson Nunez and Michael Peralta will join the league team the NYCMBL Metro Stars and Jamie Maldonado and Juan Valdez will be joining the Westchester Toros. Heading up the Metro Stars will be Railsplitters Manager and Coach Christian Colon and Jonathan Zeron along with former Railsplitters Coach Alex Oates, who now manages the New York Twins.
The first game of the Metro Stars will be on May 26th at 9:00AM against New Yorks Finest at the Sand Castle. League wide baseball will resume on June 2nd.
